St Jacques Vikings welcome Portsmouth Seconds to Guernsey on Saturday, for an early lunchtime kick-off, as part of a Footes Lane double-header with Guernsey Raiders.
The black-and-yellows remain the only unbeaten side in Counties Three Hampshire, with an 11 point cushion over second placed Winchester Seconds. Last weekend they produced one of the best performances of the season against Romsey.
This weeks visitors have had a tough first half of the campaign, but finally secured their first victory last weekend against Fareham Heathens.
The Vikings won the earlier away leg against the Hampshire side 107-0, but they are under no illusions this will likely be tougher affair. Portsmouth have produced many improved performances since that early September game, and they have taken some of the top sides close in recent weeks.
The Guernsey side have named a strong squad for their penultimate home game of the season, which sees Darrin Bellingham drop down from the Raiders. The versatile prop will pack down on the flank this week, a position we became very familiar with in Vikings colours in previous seasons.
James Burger produced a very solid performance last week, and he remains at hooker. Both James Mroch and Tom Bray also return to partner with him in the front-row.
Keiran Williamson is away this weekend, meaning last weeks man-of-the-match Jacob Smith moves from the back-row to lock, joining Tom Creed. The back-row dept is completed by Mitch Smith and Barney Paul, who was absent last week.
In the backs Gearoid Lee returns to fly-half, with Tom Veillard dropping to the bench. The same centre pairing of Lucas Barker and Joe Le Roux continue once again. Taylor Quate is still out injured.
Cameron Le Prevost is also back in the side on the wing, joining Kieran Creber and captain Matt Lomas in the back three.
The Vikings will be keen to build on their performance last weekend, and back it up at home.
Kick-off is 12pm at Footes Lane.
