The fixture which is to be played on the main Footes Lane pitch is set to be an intense battle against the old enemy. And after winning the delayed 2012/13 fixture last season on the same ground, before losing the return fixture in Jersey last March, the Guernsey side will be keen avenge the most recent defeat.
Reynolds has named a squad with a mix of youthful talent and experience, with three of the starting forward pack made up of St Jacques players.
Experienced veteran prop Trevor Marquis has been given the honour to captain the side and he said "I was very shocked to be selected as captain, I didn’t expect it but I’m really looking forward to the game". Marquis is joined in the front row with Guernsey 2nd's Russell Roberts and Cal Murdoch.
Fellow St Jacques forward Scott Le Page starts in the second row, and he is paired with the young Guernsey Colts/2nd's James Parr, whilst Bjorn Van Der Kammen starts at blindside flanker with Guernsey 2nd's Leon Gardner and Dale Martin playing at openside and no 8 respectively.
Phil Smith starts at scrum half and is paired with Guernsey Colts/2nd's Tom Velliard at fly-half, whilst Airy Cleere makes up a centre partnership with the experienced Guernsey 2nd's player Alec Bailey.
The match kicks off at 14:30.
