The evening was a brilliant celebration of the successes in Guernsey Rugby this season, as the Guernsey Raiders men’s & ladies, and St Jacques Vikings came together.

The awards winners for the Vikings were handed out by Ian Hackeson, Chairman of St Jacques, and Gary Haycock-West, Vice Chair of Guernsey Raiders.

Jacob Smith scooped the big award of the night, winning the Players’ Player of the Season award after an excellent season. He was an undoubted star for the Vikings, but it was not just his efforts on the pitch that were rewarded.

He also, along with his brother Mitchell, received the Presidents Award for Clubman of the season. They collectively do a huge amount of unseen work behind the scenes, whatever the ask, they do it with a smile on their faces. Thank you to both of them!

Tom Veillard received the Coaches Player of the Season award for the second season in a row for his excellent performances and leadership this season.

The Young Player award went to Keiran Williamson who is becoming an important players for club at only age 19.

Ed Duerden received the Most Improved Player award, whilst Gearoid Lee scooped the Supporters Player of the Season trophy.

Congratulations to all of the award winners, as well as everyone else who has helped contribute towards making this another incredibly positive season.
