The Sarnian side is made up of Vikings & Colts players this season, however all the colts have featured for the Vikings this season, and after a successful season for the Vikings so far the greens will be hopeful of lifting the trophy in the sister isle. The Caesarean side is mostly comprised of Jersey Royalls and fringe Jersey Athletic players (having played no more than four matches this season) & Colts, and whilst the team has a mixture of players will no doubt be a strong outfit and a real test.

Last season the Reds won back the trophy by 15 points after Guernsey won the trophy the season before in Jersey for the first time in many years.

The Guernsey side is coached by Vikings Ray Smart, has not as yet named a confirmed starting side, however it is expected to be consistent with much of the season so far. Leon Gardner will skipper the side.

This is a very big game, and everyone from Guernsey involved are hoping for a great performance and to be bringing the Investec Inter Insular trophy Home today.
